InSyBio, is a bioinformatics pioneer company in personalized healthcare, that focuses on developing computational frameworks and tools for the analysis of complex life-science and biological data in order to develop predictive integrated biomarkers (biomarkers of various categories) with increased prognostic and diagnostic aspects for personalized Healthcare Industry.
InSyBio has proposed an innovative combination of computational frameworks and tools for the analysis of biological data in order to predict integrated biomarkers with increased prognostic and diagnostic aspects based on combined evidence from various cellular levels (e.g. genomic, transcriptomic and proteome level).
InSyBio's approach for biomarker discovery, which is also offered as an outsourcing project, is not limited to a single experimental data type, but is an integrated approach which combines multiple types of data and takes into account intracellular molecules, namely miRNAs, proteins, RNA molecules and events such as Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms which have been proven to have a significant prognostic and diagnostic role. This methodology has been so far applied to Neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson and Alzheimer’s but it can be applied to any disease with genetic causes.
InSyBio has developed an on-line suite of software tools – called InSyBio Suite – which assists biology researchers in extracting valuable biological knowledge from experimental data. It consists of tools for providing integrated biological information from various sources, while at the same time it is empowered with robust, user-friendly and installation-free bioinformatics tools based on intelligent algorithms and methods.
The basic tools of InSyBio Suite's latest version are the following:
- Interact: a tool offering prepossessing and analysis options for proteomics and interactomics biological data.
- cRNAseq: a tool for the analysis of non-coding RNA molecules. It provides a tool for the sequential, thermodynamical and structural annotation of RNA molecules.
- BioNets: a tool which enables the application of data mining techniques on biological networks and the analysis of transcriptomics datasets for biomarker discovery.
