Blue Innovation Hub
Blue Innovation HUB is a joint initiative of leading academic research labs and Patras Science Park with the aim to exploit research results and promote innovation, new product development and business partnerships in the field of blue growth.
The primary objective of the HUB is to consolidate, foster and coordinate
community activities towards the development of products and applications based on blue growth, thus creating for its members new perspectives for research, technological and entrepreneurial cooperations.
Specifically:
- Creation of conditions to attract new scientists, development centers, business
- Strong bonds between labs and industry
- Undertake a leading role at national level and creating collaborations at international level (key player, landmark, brand name)
- Development of prototype products, concepts, applications, fundamental studies in various industrial sectors and research fields
- Commercialization and IP management of research results
- Cooperation with the industry
- Participation in national and international projects
- Increase networking, international links and create a distinctive HUB Brand name
- Exploitation of financial tools and mechanisms to support members

- Automization or/and scale up methods for product manufacturing
- Bridging Academia and Industry (communication of current
trends and needs, motivation of students and graduates to
innovate and become entrepreneurs, cooperation with the

Συνάντηση στα πλαίσια του έργου BLUE_BOOST και 1η διασταυρούμενη επίσκεψη στην περιοχή της Απουλίας
Στις 16-18 Ιουλίου 2018, η Περιφέρεια της Απουλίας της Ιταλίας φιλοξένησε στη πόλη Giovinazzo (BA) τη 2η Συνάντηση της Συντονιστικής Επιτροπής στα πλαίσια του έργου BLUE_BOOST και ταυτόχρονα διοργάνωσε την 1η διακρατική διασταυρούμενη επίσκεψη του έργου για τις 7 εμπλεκόμενες περιοχές της Αδριατικής και του Ιονίου.
